Deputy Chief Minister and Women and Child Welfare Minister Prabhati Parida informed the Assembly on Saturday that applications from 6,23,555 beneficiaries for the Subhadra Yojana are currently under government consideration.
Responding to a question by MLA Ganeswar Behera, the Deputy CM stated that inclusion in the scheme will be based on merit following field investigations, adhering to the Subhadra guidelines and SOP.
Minister Parida also shared the status of existing disbursements:
First Installment: 1,00,37,5,941 recipients
Second Installment: 1,00,19,2,724 recipients
Third Installment: 97,65,339 recipients
The update came during the Question Hour on the ninth day of the Assembly's winter session, where several departments, including Women and Child Development, were discussed.
