Congress MLA Rajan Akai raised the issue in the Assembly, noting the paper was allegedly being sold in the market as early as 11 am.
Screenshots of the second-year Midwifery paper went viral on social media platforms, with leaks first reported from Malkangiri and Balangir districts, indicating serious irregularities.
Students preparing for the exam have expressed deep dissatisfaction over the security lapse, stating it undermines the credibility of the nursing education system. Candidates are now demanding a comprehensive government investigation to identify and punish those responsible.
Examination authorities have assured students that new dates will only be announced after a thorough probe is completed.
