The highest offices of the nation have expressed profound grief over the devastating fire at Cuttack’s SCB Medical College. President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued heartfelt condolences to the families of the 11 victims who perished in the Trauma Care ICU inferno.


In addition to the state-level support, the Prime Minister has sanctioned relief from the PMNRF:

₹2 lakh ex-gratia for the next of kin of each deceased.
