To manage the rising influx of devotees, especially during holidays, a high-level meeting chaired by Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan was held at Lok Seva Bhawan, Bhubaneswar.
The administration reviewed crowd management models proposed by IIT Bhubaneswar to ensure seamless and orderly darshan. Under the discussed blueprint, a multi-step crowd control and ramp system could enable 8,000 to 10,000 devotees to have darshan every hour.
A pilot model will be rolled out soon alongside thirty-three ongoing projects monitored by the temple administration. The complete infrastructure overhaul is scheduled for completion within the next four months.
