On the 90th Utkal Diwas, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, alongside Deputy CMs Parvathi Parida and K.B. Singh Deo, and leaders like Naveen Patnaik and Dharmendra Pradhan, extended heartfelt greetings to the Odia community.
Paying tribute to the state’s pioneers, CM Majhi highlighted Odisha’s vibrant identity—rooted in Jagannath culture, the elegance of Odissi, and the spirited rhythms of Sambalpuri and tribal dances.
He praised the global Odia diaspora for preserving their heritage through language, festivals, and the "aroma of Odia food."
The CM issued a stirring call to action as Odisha enters a transformative decade. With the centenary approaching in 10 years, he envisioned the state as the growth engine of a developed India.
"Let these ten years be a decade of determination," the CM urged.
He called upon every Odia, at home and abroad, to commit to building a prosperous Odisha, turning this historic turning point into a new era of unprecedented development and pride.
