The Odisha government is set to revolutionize public service by transitioning to a digital grievance redressal system.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling announced in the House that citizens will soon be able to submit complaints online, eliminating the need for physical travel to meet the Chief Minister or MLAs.
Under this new initiative, local MLAs will directly monitor digital submissions and instruct departmental officers for swift resolution. This streamlined process, likely hosted on a dedicated new website, aims to make governance more accessible and transparent.
Since taking office in 2024, the Mohan Majhi government has prioritized public interaction, famously reactivating the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell on July 1, 2024.
While the CM currently holds in-person hearings every Monday, this digital shift ensures that the "Antyodaya" spirit reaches every doorstep, making justice just a click away for the common man.
