On the auspicious occasion of Dhanu Sankranti, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi formally released the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Calendar and Diary for 2026. The first copies were traditionally offered to Mahaprabhu before the public launch at the State Guest House.
The 2026 edition is a tribute to Odisha’s rich heritage, featuring stunning photographs of the deities’ various Beshas (costumes) and the iconic Rath Yatra. The calendar uniquely incorporates traditional motifs like sand art, Pattachitra, palm-leaf etchings, and stone carvings.
SJTA Chief Administrator Dr. Arabinda Padhee and Puri Collector Divya Jyoti Parida were among the dignitaries present. The temple administration confirmed that the calendars and diaries will be available for devotees at Shrimandir Information Centers in both Puri and Bhubaneswar within the next 48 hours.
This release aims to bring the divine essence of the 12th-century shrine into the homes of devotees worldwide.
