In a harrowing incident that has sparked statewide outrage, four teachers of a private school in Rajkanika have been accused of gang-raping a 12-year-old Class 7 student. The minor was allegedly subjected to repeated sexual assault on the school roof during sports breaks. A female assistant at the school is also under investigation for reportedly facilitating the crimes.
The matter came to light after the traumatized student confided in her family, leading to a formal complaint with the District Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and the local police.

Police Investigation: A case has been registered under the POCSO Act.
Detentions: Police have detained five individuals, including the accused teachers and the female staff member.
