Mayurbhanj district police have cracked down on an inter-state drug trafficking racket, arresting three smugglers and intercepting a high-end vehicle near Lakshmiposhi.
Acting on a tip-off about cannabis being transported via the Subarnarekha canal road near Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bhanjpur police set up a strategic blockade and searched vehicles. During the operation, they intercepted a suspicious West Bengal-registered car, unearthing over one quintal of cannabis (ganja) hidden inside.

Confiscated Assets: Over a quintal of ganja, a luxury car used for smuggling, and lakhs of rupees in cash.
