JDU President Nitish Kumar is set to make a record by taking oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 10th time on Thursday, November 20. The grand swearing-in ceremony will be held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna between 11 am and 12 noon.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the event, along with Union Ministers and Chief Ministers of other BJP-ruled states, including Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi.
The ceremony follows the landslide victory of the BJP-JDU NDA alliance in the recent assembly elections. The NDA secured a massive majority with 202 seats in the 243-member assembly (BJP 89, JDU 84, LJP 19, and others), while the Grand Alliance won only 35 seats.
Nitish Kumar will first be elected as the party leader tomorrow before staking his claim to form the new government.
