Bhubaneswar: OAS officer Sarthak Saurabh Mohapatra, currently working as the Deputy General Manager (DGM) of the Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA), appeared at the Women's Police Station in Bhubaneswar following a complaint filed by his wife, Archana Dash. Das has accused Mohapatra of cruelty, mental torture, and abandoning her and their newborn child at the hospital.

According to sources, Dash alleged that Mohapatra left her and their child at the hospital without any support or care.

She claimed that Mohapatra subjected her to cruelty and mental harassment throughout their marriage and after the birth of their child.

Reportedly, after appearing at the police station, Mohapatra denied all allegations, stating that his wife never supported him and was unhappy about the time he spent with his mother.

Mohapatra claimed that he stayed in the hospital for three days after the baby's birth and provided necessary care, alleging that his wife was mentally torturing him instead.

Mohapatra expressed his determination to contest the allegations, saying, "I am not Atul Subhas, I will fight till the end. I have hope in the court, I have hope in Jagannath".
