The Odisha AI Symposium 2025 will be held at SOA Deemed to be University on December 18, bringing together national and international experts to advance the recently approved Odisha AI Policy.
The event, a collaboration between SOA, the Odisha Society of America (OSA), and the AI and HPC Centre of IIT Bhubaneswar, aims to provide strategic direction for the state's AI-driven growth. Policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators will discuss AI applications in key sectors like healthcare and agriculture.
SOA Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda highlighted the symposium’s goal to foster collaborations and a future-ready roadmap for scalable AI adoption. Focus areas include AI in education, skilling, ethics, and security.
A dedicated session will explore Agentic AI—'Beyond the Prompt: Decoding Google’s Agentic AI.' The symposium is an official pre-event for the India AI Impact Summit 2026.
