Revised Allowances: The annual clothing allowance for 378 jail officers has been doubled from Rs 3,000 to Rs 6,000. For chief warders, warders, and women warders, the allowance has also been doubled to Rs 8,000.
Financial Impact: This state-funded revision will incur an additional expenditure of Rs 96.22 lakh annually.
