In a major boost for women's empowerment, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced that registrations for the state's flagship 'Subhadra' scheme will reopen on April 1st. This month-long window, closing on April 30th, is a golden opportunity for eligible women who missed the initial phase.
The scheme targets women aged 21 to 60 who have not yet registered. Applicants can apply online via the dedicated Subhadra portal or collect free forms from local Anganwadi Centers and CDPO offices.
By extending the registration period, the Odisha government aims to maximize coverage and ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left behind in receiving financial assistance.
This move reaffirms the state's commitment to strengthening the financial independence of its female citizens through accessible and transparent welfare initiatives.
