On Monday early morning, An Odisha Vigilance raid has been conducted on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets.


The accused is identified as Dharanidhar Nayak, Deputy Director of Mines (DDM), Talcher, of Angul district.


Simultaneous house searches in the Odisha vigilance raid are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by 10 DSPs, 16 Inspectors, 7 SI/ASIs, and other supporting staff. 


On the strength of search warrants issued by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Angul at the following eight places in Bhubaneswar, and Keonjhar and Angul districts.


  • Flat No. 205, 2nd floor of Surekha Orchid Sisu vihar, Patia Bhubaneswar.
  • One double storeyed Market complex consisting of 15 shops (nine shops on the ground floor and six shops on the 1st floor) of the building located at Badinali Sinkulabahal, Jagmohanpur Telkoi, Keonjhar.
  • One double storeyed building under construction adjacent to market complex at Badinali Sinkulabahal, Jagmohanpur, Telkoi Keonjhar.
  • One single storeyed building at Badinali Sinkulabahal, Jagmohanpur Telkoi, Keonjhar.
  • Paternal house of Sri Nayak at village Chhamunda, Via- Telkoi PS- Telkoi, Dist- Keonjhar.
  • His temporary residence at Talcher, Dist- Angul.
  • Office room of Sri Nayak at O/o-Dy Director Mining, Talcher, Dist- Angul.
  • His relative’s house at village Purumunda, Ghatagaon, Dist- Keonjhar.

     According to the latest report, the probe is still on.
