Odisha residents will soon be able to apply for visas without traveling out of state, following Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi's approval for a Global Visa Application Center in Bhubaneswar.
The establishment of this center marks a significant relief for the state's people, who previously had to travel to cities like Kolkata, New Delhi, or Hyderabad for visa processing.
The new center will be strategically located at the Barmunda Babasaheb Ambedkar Bus Terminal Building. The Odisha government has allocated three thousand square feet of space for the project, ensuring its speedy implementation.
This initiative is expected to streamline the visa application process and provide convenience for the large number of people from Odisha who seek to travel abroad for various purposes.
