Health services in Odisha are set for a digital revolution following a two-day think tank on AB-PMJAY and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). The Health Minister announced that all pending Ayushman card issues will be resolved within the next three days, allowing eligible beneficiaries to track their applications digitally.
In a landmark move for accessibility, three MoUs were signed to translate all scheme data into the Odia language. This initiative ensures that the common man can easily navigate digital facilities and understand policy benefits.
The camp focused on streamlining the card-making process and integrating digital health records. By removing language barriers and accelerating card issuance, the state government aims to make healthcare more transparent and accessible to every citizen.
The transition to Odia-centric data is expected to significantly increase scheme enrollment across rural belts.
