Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to visit Koraput today as the chief guest for the grand fourth evening of the national-level tribal festival, 'Parab'. Highlighting the visit, the CM will announce a massive developmental package worth approximately ₹550 crore for the district.
Upon arrival at Parab Padi, the CM will tour the Pallishree Mela, visiting the Mandia (Millet) and Koraput Coffee stalls to promote local heritage. His itinerary includes inaugurating the 'Parva Court' and honoring distinguished artists and achievers from the region.
To ensure a seamless event, the district administration has fortified security with 60 platoons of police force deployed across the city. This visit is seen as a major push for tribal empowerment and regional infrastructure. The evening will conclude with a keynote address by the Chief Minister, outlining his vision for the district’s future.
