The investigation into the tragic demise of popular singer Human Sagar has intensified as singers Arpita Chaudhary and Somesh Satpathy moved the Orissa High Court seeking anticipatory bail.
The legal move follows a formal complaint lodged at the Markat Nagar Police Station by Human’s mother, Shefali Suna. The FIR names nine individuals, including Sagar’s manager Dinesh, studio owner Somesh, and daughter-in-law Shreya Mishra.
The Allegations:
Mental Distress: Shefali Suna alleges that Arpita, a frequent visitor to their home, suddenly severed ties, causing Human severe mental depression.
Health Decline: The complaint suggests this emotional turmoil led to a sharp decline in the singer’s health and his eventual passing.
As the police probe the "mental harassment" angle, the High Court’s decision on the bail pleas is eagerly awaited by the Odia music industry.
