The capital city is gearing up for a vibrant Sunday as the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced the return of Path Utsav starting January 4. The stretch from Master Canteen to Ram Mandir Chowk will transform into a cultural carnival from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM.
This year’s edition boasts a "New Look" with a core focus on Odia language and heritage. The event will feature an eclectic mix of traditional arts and modern fitness:
Arts: Jhoti, Rangoli, Clay Art, and Magic Shows.
Sports: Skating, Cycling, Basketball, and Yoga.
Engagement: Quiz competitions, Ludo, and live musical performances.
With participation from local schools, colleges, and SHGs, BMC aims to turn Janpath into a hub of community bonding. Residents are encouraged to ditch vehicles and embrace the street for three hours of pure cultural intoxication.
