A devastating road accident in the Lamtaput area of Koraput district has claimed two lives. The tragedy unfolded on the Nandapur-Padua road when a speeding car lost control and slammed into a roadside tree.
The impact was so violent that the vehicle was reduced to a mangled wreck, killing both occupants on the spot. The victims have been identified as residents of Golur and Kudub villages.
They were reportedly traveling home when the driver lost steerage for unknown reasons.
