The capital city is set for a vibrant winter, with the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) announcing the return of its popular street festivals.
The celebrations kick off with a Street Carnival at Master Canteen on November 16th, held in collaboration with the India Institute of Architects (IIA).
The event will run from 7 am to 11 pm, featuring 3D art, fashion shows, Zumba sessions, and various exhibitions. The BMC plans to expand this carnival to other city locations if the initial event proves successful.
Additionally, the larger Street Festival is scheduled for the end of December and the first week of January, to be organized across three zones in Bhubaneswar. Preparatory meetings are underway to select the agency responsible for its execution.
Separately, the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has also initiated the Ekamra Walk as part of activities connected to the ongoing Indian Road Congress (IRC) Conference.
