At a high-level regional conclave hosted by SOA Deemed to be University, Vice-Chancellors and academics from 37 Odisha institutions gathered to strategize on elevating the state's higher education to a global standard.
Organized alongside Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), the event featured insights from Times Higher Education (THE) on evaluating academic and research excellence.
Key speakers, including BPUT VC Prof. Amiya Kumar Rath and SOA VC Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda, emphasized a shift toward quality, societal connection, and technological adaptation. Prof. Bibhuti Bhushan Biswal (OUTR) noted that international rankings like THE and QS are vital for global visibility.
