Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has launched 46 industrial projects worth ₹39,383 crore across 14 districts, marking what he termed a "second industrial revolution" in Kalinganagar, Jajpur.

The multi-sector push—spanning steel, renewable energy, food processing, and tourism—aims to generate 42,512 jobs and fulfill the state's vision of becoming a $500 billion economy over the next decade.

Highlighting a shift from previous slogans to actionable execution, the government has advanced 151 projects totaling over ₹3.5 lakh crore in less than two years, creating employment for more than 2.4 lakh youths.

Major enterprises like Jindal Stainless, Tata Steel, and IMFA are spearheading this decentralized growth, which aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s "Purvodaya" initiative.

Special emphasis is being placed on labor-intensive sectors such as textiles and food processing to curb outward migration and retain local talent.
