Ahead of the public counter sale for the India-South Africa T20 match tickets on December 5th, the Cuttack DCP has reviewed extensive security arrangements to manage the expected crowds.
A kilometer-long, zigzag iron barricade has been constructed in the OCA academy area, designed to accommodate approximately 10,000 people in an orderly queue. Entry and exit points to the academy will be separate.
Ticket sales will commence at 9 AM, with spectators permitted to start queuing from 6 AM. Police have warned that no one will be allowed to queue overnight for tickets.
To curb black marketing, the entire process will be monitored by CCTV, and police personnel in plain clothes will be deployed. OCA officials have also inspected the security measures.
